Fire Notes
Wet leaves don't burn. Only about 10% were wet. I thought the dry ones would burn and dry out the wet ones and they'd burn. Nope. Lots of smoke though. I left my window open. I think my smoke alarm doesn't work. cough cough cough Jan
Lord girl do we do the same thing all the time? I did some burning myself this afternoon. Only I had dead grass, some sort of plant I had planted and in the winter it turns brown and then in spring it comes back out again, could have been Monkey Grass, LOL I don\'t know but anyway I threw it on my pile of dead limbs I had picked up and whoosh up in smoke, lots of smoke. Take care Jan, they will dry soon enough. Hugs, pat
Smoked tootsie rolls, I\'m not sure I want to try Jane\'s BBQ. LOL! Hope you don\'t have to smell the scent of (What kind of leaves were they?) smoked leaves for too long. Ya Live, Ya Learn or you smell smoked leaves again. :-)
You need to toss some tootsie*rolls on them....
