Sock Puppets

I woke up this morning from a dream about sock puppets. I was creating a commercial - for what I have no idea. I had a whole bunch of sock puppets singing "Sock it to me Baby". I don't think I've thought of that awful song since the 60's, yet there it was in surround sound in my dream. I've never liked sock puppets either. I remember making the commercial and being quite pleased with it though.

Lately I've been working in a fast-food place and living in a really bad apartment in a really bad part of a really bad town in my dreams. Walking through the alleys, going in other apartments, scared all the time. Same places and people every night. and rats rats and more rats

Some day I'll write, "so I dreamed I was a Princess, in a far away land...and I had a horse and a puppy and I got to go shopping at Crate and Barrel every day. And I was oh so happy."

  3. Amazing how dreams pick up things from our waking life. What do sock puppets mean to you when you say you don\'t like them? And have you ever been interested in working in advertising/I do the same thing though, in terms of the other dreams, dream aboutwhat is stressful in my life. LInda is on teh right track? What is your bedtime routine? Are you doing something calming before going to bed?Hope your dreams brighten up soon!B\'shalom

  4. Hmm. This sounds quite serious, and an emergency intervention may be necessary. I just happen to have a lot of emergency intervention time available in my appointment schedule. There is, however another cheaper and possibly more effective solution. I am an amphibian, after all, and it has been told that a fair maiden willing to kiss such a being would turn into a princess and get a pony and go to shop at Crate and Barrel. Or maybe it was that the frog became a prince. Whatever. I\'m willing to give it a try in the interests of science, the betterment of your sadly socked emotional condition, and fun. Just have your people call my people.Peace, Doc

  5. Hope you haven\'t had any more \'sock\' dreams. Hope this finds you well. Stay warm. In the opposite end of the state, we are cold and about to get snow and ice, or so it seems. Take care! Hugs, Susan
