I spent 13 hours with a 2 year old, 5 were with her 6 year old brother also. A great day, lots of fun and hugs. What more do you want from a job? Fun and Hugs should be a requirement. So, I'm still watching the neighbor kids. Sweet, smart kids. Don't know when the mom will be out of rehab. What is the answer to drug addiction? Jan
Bless your heart, I would be a chocolate mess (again) after that exposure to a terrible two year old!
ReplyDeleteYes the answer to addiction is recovery or a dismal demise, as nodope said.

Must be great to know that a smile extends your life, and it sounds as though your working up a few years. Does my hear good just hearing about it, you\'re a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteI was catching up on my reading...boy was that ever a weird dream ! It\'s a shame that kids have no control over their destinies or what there parents do and it\'s worse that some parents have no control over their own. Once addicted there never seems to be any hope. Wipe out drugs maybe but that would mean a real all out no holes barred war against them, meaning every country in the world would have to come down on the people and the product and give them nodope\'s approach. At least the kids were lucky enough to have someone like you to spend some time with. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteGood fun but hard work I suspect, glad you had an enjoyable day x
ReplyDeleteHi Jan. Drug addiction is so, so sad. I\'ve been through it with my boys. The young people just dont understand what they\'re starting when they decide to try it just once. I hope for those kids sake, and for hers, that she is a strong person.
ReplyDeleteSo sad for those kids, but thankfully, they have you . God Bless Jan. Take care, Pat
